Our team attended a property in Baulkham Hills NSW 2153 to install underground drainage for the pool area and prepare a sewer connection for a future cabana.
The work included new stormwater pipework for the strip drains surrounding the pool, along with a separate sewer line connecting the future cabana area to the property's existing sewer system.

Connecting the Pool Strip Drains to Stormwater
New stormwater drainage was installed to service the strip drains around the pool area.
Strip drains collect surface runoff, but they still need an effective underground drainage route to carry that water away. The new pipework provides a dedicated pathway from the pool-area drains into the property's stormwater system.
This helps manage surface water around the pool and surrounding outdoor areas rather than allowing collected runoff to accumulate where it isn't wanted.
Installing the Future Cabana Sewer Connection
A new sewer line was also installed from the planned cabana area and connected to the property's existing sewer system.
Installing this connection before the cabana is built prepares the property for its future plumbing requirements and can reduce the need to excavate through completed landscaping or outdoor surfaces later.
When construction of the cabana progresses, the underground sewer pathway will already be in place for the future sanitary plumbing connection.
Testing the New Drainage
Once the new stormwater and sewer pipework had been installed, the drainage was flow tested to confirm it was operating correctly.
Testing before the surrounding areas are completed is particularly important because much of this infrastructure will eventually be concealed underground.
